The Electronic Equipment Insurance Policy is specifically designed to cover accidental loss or damage to a wide range of electronic equipment.
This policy provides comprehensive protection against sudden and unforeseen physical damage, including breakdowns. Ideal for owners, lessors, or hirers of electronic equipment, it ensures that your valuable technology is safeguarded against various perils, from fire and theft to natural disasters.
This all-risk policy is suitable for equipment like computers, printers, scanners, industrial electronic machines, servers, and data storage devices, ensuring your business operations continue smoothly even in the face of unexpected incidents.
Exclusions include normal wear and tear, corrosion, wilful acts, gross negligence, faults for which third parties are responsible, failure due to interruption of gas, water, or power supply, aesthetic defects, and consequential losses. The sum insured should be equivalent to the current purchase price of similar new electronic equipment, including installation costs, duty, freight, taxes, etc. If the sum insured is less than required, claims will be paid proportionately.
